Overview
Permanently seal and stop damp, water and other household stains in one coat. Apply directly onto damp walls and ceilings and over paint in just four hours. Thompson One Coat Damp Seal has a micro-porous formula that allows trapped moisture to escape.

Preparation
Always ensure the area to be painted is free from dust, dirt and anything that may affect adhesion.
- Always ensure the cause of the damp has been rectified before painting otherwise the damp will reappear.
- Remove any wallpaper and flaking paint with a damp cloth.
- Fill any cracks or holes with an appropriate filler.
- This product can be applied to damp surfaces as long as they are not dripping wet.
Application
Always perform a test on a small inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility, and always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin.
- Thoroughly stir the product prior to use.
- Ensure the room is well-ventilated during application.
- Apply using a brush or roller.
- Apply to the full area of the affected area plus 30cm around it.
- Allow to dry for 4 hours before decorating over.
Aftercare & Storage
Store in a cool, well ventilated place away from heat and sources of ignition. The shelf life of the product in airtight containers is at least 3 years.
Further applications of Thompson’s One Coat Damp Seal should not be necessary. If staining reoccurs, the source of the damp has not been correctly rectified.
